On the professional side, the membership of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) had been my preoccupation and joy. I joined the then NIMARK in 1996; was made a Fellow in 2003. I had held several positions in the Institute both at chapter and national levels. I was Vice Chairman of the Enugu chapter of NIMN from 2003 – 2011, and chairperson of the chapter from 2011 – November 2015; was the 2014 Enugu NIMN Marketing Educators Conference LOC Chairman; Coordinator of the 2015 NIMN Marketing Educators conference in Calabar, Cross River State; and the Chairman, LOC for the 2015 National Conference and Annual General Meeting held in Enugu and still coordinates the Marketing Educators Conference. I had been the Second Vice President of the Institute for the past two years within which I had coordinated the NIMN professional examinations. I thank God for the things the Institute had surmounted these two years under the President and the Council.
I am happily married to Rich and blessed with five wonderful children and many grandchildren.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Having devoted the past two years in the service of our Institute, I find myself challenged at this juncture to seek a 1st Vice presidential leadership platform to further push back the gap between the "Town” and "Gown ” which had been my mandate and complete the review and updating of NIMN professional examinations.
I will also work with the President, 2nd Vice President, Council members, Chapter Executives, Staff and Members for continued unity, peace and progress of our great Institute in every aspect of its operation,
God being my guide.
