National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria
The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) is a professional body for individuals involved in marketing and related fields. The Institute’s main role is to regulate and standardize marketing practices through professional examinations, certifications, and training. Membership in the Institute is compulsory for marketing practitioners, and practicing marketing without registration is illegal. NIMN aims to ensure that its members adopt a professional marketing approach.
The Institute was established by Act of the National Assembly no. 25 0f 2003 with a chartered status conferred on it, the responsibility to regulate and standardize marketing professional practice through the conduct of comprehensive professional examinations and certifications, training, retraining and consultancy services geared towards ensuring that members adopt a professional approach to marketing and other related areas of marketing activities. members are being retrained.

Act 2003

The Act that mandates compulsory membership of the Institute for all marketers who receive or expect to receive remuneration is put in place to regulate the marketing profession and ensure a high level of professionalism and ethical standards. The Act defines practicing marketing as engaging in the practice of marketing, holding oneself out to the public as a marketer, or providing professional services related to marketing. Failure to register with the Institute is illegal, and Section 202 of the Act makes it clear that anyone who practices marketing without being a registered member of the Institute or takes or uses any name, title, addition, or description implying that they are in practice as a marketer commits an offence. The Institute aims to provide value to its members, corporate members, and government by providing opportunities for continuous improvement of marketing skills, promoting professional and career advancement through education, information, and networking, and showcasing marketing excellence. Additionally, the Institute collaborates with government at all levels to design genuine programmes that will help in achieving the economic transformation of the country. As an employee of the government, it’s essential to understand the Act’s provisions to comply with the law and promote ethical practices in marketing. He is a Business and Leadership Coach with strong expertise in Human Capacity development,
Strategy and Commercial Excellence. This is culled from a distinguished career spanning over
30 years across various industries and top-rated global organizations like Guinness, The
Coca-Cola Company, Cadbury, Samsung, and L’OREAL.
He oversees Corporate Shepherds Limited, a social enterprise founded by him to build
generational leaders and businesses and nurture the same to higher levels of performance and
productivity. He is an author and presenter/producer of a radio program ‘Navigate With Idy
Enang’, currently running on ten stations across the country. This provides an opportunity for a
‘business school’ to teach, guide, and motivate a large spectrum and audience with
entrepreneurial mindsets.
He brings his expertise to bear as he dedicates time to serving on Boards of companies, NGOs, and his professional enclave as President & Chairman of the Council of the National Institute of
Marketing of Nigeria – NIMN. Also, a Fellow and distinguished Advertising Practitioner with
APCON.

PATIENCE SADO
Patience Sado (mnimn) is a lecturer in the Department of Petroleum Marketing and Business Studies at the Petroleum Training Institute in Effurun, Delta State, Nigeria, and the Registrar of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN). She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc)degree in Marketing from Ambrose Alli University, and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Marketing, from Delta State University. In addition, she has a Diploma in Basic Computer Studies .
With eight years of cognate working experience, Pat as she is fondly called has excelled in the fields of people management and student training. She has actively contributed to her Institution by serving as a member/chairperson of the Admission Committee, a member of the Entrepreneurship Development Committee, Research Seminars and Conference Committees, as well as the Petroleum Training Institute Consult Post Covid 19 Business Pilot Committee and PTI Convocation Sub-committee. Hydrocarbon Science and Technology Adhoc Committee (ICHST).
On a national level, she has made significant contributions to the NIMN. She was a member of the Education, Examination, and Accreditation Committee and holds the position of Vice-Chairman in the NIMN Curriculum Review Sub-Committee. Pat previously served as the secretary of the NIMN Warri Chapter and currently holds the esteemed position of Registrar of the National Institute of Marketing Nigeria (NIMN). Patience Sado has earned recognition for her outstanding contributions and received several awards. Notable among these are the Pioneer Award from the AAU Alumni Warri Chapter and she also served as an exco member, the Award of Excellence from the Association of Petroleum Marketing and Business at PTI, ( APEMBUS). She was also nominated for the Nigeria Marketing Award 2022 in the category of Marketing Educator of the Year. She is not only an accomplished educator but also a co-author. She has authored noteworthy journals like: “Marketing Strategies and Consumer Purchase Behavior: A Focus on Manufacturing Firms.” and “Public Relations Practices and Customer Satisfaction in Leading Banks in Nigeria.”

CEO/Managing Consultant DIGIMAGE CONSULT, Former EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING, NIGERIAN TELEVISION AUTHORITY (NTA) Adenike Olufade is a seasoned corporate executive with over 40 years of extensive experience in marketing and business administration, culminating in her role as Executive Director of Marketing at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). Throughout her distinguished career at NTA, she held various key management positions, spearheading effective strategies that resulted in significant revenue gains.
Her journey at NTA traversed administrative and marketing roles, culminating in her
appointment as General Manager of several state stations, Zonal Director at Ibadan and Lagos
NTA Network Centres, Managing Director of TV Enterprises (TVE), and ultimately, Executive
Director of Marketing. Adenike also served on the NTA Board of Directors and held positions on
various boards within the organization.
As Executive Director of Marketing at the Nigerian Television Authority, she provided oversight
to directors, deputy directors, assistant directors, marketing managers, and other NTA marketing
departments nationwide, demonstrating her exceptional leadership and strategic acumen.
Adenike holds a B.A. in English from the University of Ife (now O.A.U) and two master’s degrees
from the University of Ibadan – an M.B.A. and an M.Phil. in Peace & Conflict Studies. She is
widely recognized as a “turnaround expert,” consistently revitalizing struggling business units
and restoring them to profitability.
Known for her trustworthiness, dependability, and reliability, Adenike is a consummate
marketing strategist, exceptional team player, leader, and mentor. She is a fellow of several
prestigious professional bodies, including the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNIMN),
the Society for Peace Studies & Practice (FSPSP), the Institute of Corporate Administration,
and the Association of Corporate Governance Professionals of Nigeria (FCGP). She is also a
member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (MNIPR), the American Marketing
Association (AMA), the Advertising Regulatory Council Of Nigeria (ARCON), and a life member
of Women In Management & Business (WIMBIZ).
In addition, Adenike currently serves on the Governing Council of the National Institute of
Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN). Today, Adenike is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Consultant at DIGIMAGE Consult, where she continues to leverage her expertise to drive business success and foster growth for
her clients.

Ayoola Obafemi Akomolafe is a perennial Commercial leader and executive with over 30 years of hands-on experience in the commercial function and championing organization-wide transformation delivering tangible results and impact to organizations and receiving several recognitions. Over the years he has honed his skills in Business & Channel Development, Marketing, People Capability Development, Leadership, Strategy, and Financial Management.
In his current role, he coordinates Elkris Group and has overseeing responsibility for business Transformation for the foremost indigenous Food Company
He is passionate about developing the youths and supporting early to mid-career professionals to manage and accelerate their career journey, growth, and development as they learn the ropes and navigate the bends in fulfilling their purpose and achieving their ambitions in the corporate and business world.
Ayoola is an alumnus of Lagos State University, Obafemi Awolowo University, and Lagos Business School, and attended several conferences, seminars, and trainings both locally and across the continents.
He is a team leader, planner, mentor, business & leadership coach, and advocate for a harmonious community, an astute believer in Project Nigeria.
He became a Professional Marketer in 1993 and became a fellow in 2015. He is privileged to have worked in all the Markets and States in Nigeria as well as some West African Countries while working with Marc & Mei Nig Limited, Joy Investment & Finance Co Ltd, Cadbury Nig Plc, Berger Paints Plc, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), National Institute of Nigeria (NIMN), Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, Nampak Nigeria Limited and Elkris Group. He is much at home to all the cultures.
Ayoola brought an unprecedented drive to the membership Service of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), his passion for Professionalism and endorsement through the Professional Association is strong and commendable. He actively participated in Enugu Chapter, Ibadan Chapter, Mainland Chapter, and Ikeja Chapter.
He had served on different committees of the Institute and was recently appointed the Chairman of the Membership Committee.
He is happily married to Omoge Toyin Lola Akomolafe and blessed with Princes & Princesses.

SANDRA SUNDAYBA AMACHREE
A seasoned Commercial Executive with a proven track record of driving growth, fostering innovation, and leading organizational transformation. Sandra currently holds the position of Global Senior Brand Manager for Eazle, the pioneering eB2B brand of The HEINEKEN Company. In her capacity, Sandra is responsible for charting the strategic course of the Eazle brand, devising innovative strategies, and cultivating meaningful customer connections. She oversees the implementation of the brand strategy across diverse markets, developing frameworks to support
localization efforts and drive loyalty and growth on a global scale.
Previously, Sandra served as the Head of Marketing Communications at Nigerian Breweries Plc., where she orchestrated ambitious brand communication campaigns for a portfolio of over 21 brands. Her leadership saw the integration of digital media, data-driven marketing, and brand PR under one umbrella of Marketing Communications, resulting in sustained year-on-year Share of Voice growth. Next to this, she transformed the role of Brand PR in the marketing mix with a key focus on impactful brand storytelling and increasing brand awareness, as one of the growth engines for brand power.
This has been delivered through her passion for working and winning with teams. Sandra’s impact extends beyond marketing. With oversight of Media Excellence management for two West African Countries within The HEINEKEN Company, she has been instrumental in reshaping the media capabilities of the African Middle East and Eastern Europe (AMEE) region. Raising the floor and the ceiling with the successful launch and roll-out of the AMEE media hub, providing media excellence practices for other West African OpCo’s in HEINEKEN. She drove the implementation of the first marketing mix modeling study in the AMEE region with the key objective to fully optimise media investments as a critical driver of business success while delivering positive ROI on media
the investment aligns with HEINEKEN’s media principles and agenda to transform brand building.
Dedicated to the development of Marketing in Nigeria, she served as the first female Chairperson of the Lagos Mainland Chapter of the NIMN, advocating for the intersection of marketing practice with business growth and positive societal impact. She continues to serve as a Council Member of the institute to date. Drawing from her rich cross-functional background working in other functions like Sales and Human Resources, Sandra brings a wealth of knowledge to every endeavor, enabling her to lead transformative agendas and deliver impactful results. Notable among her accomplishments in HR is her pivotal role in supporting HEINEKEN South Africa in 2016 to transition into a full-fledged OpCo.
Sandra led the execution of change management strategies and effectively managed the people separation process from the HEINEKEN-Diageo joint venture (BRANDHOUSE). This transition facilitated the evolution of the company from a joint venture set up to a fully operational HEINEKEN OPCO, laying the foundation of a future-fit organization. She earned her MBA from the Lagos Business School of Pan Atlantic University and enjoys spending
her free time playing lawn tennis and golfing.

Benita Adelore is an experienced senior executive with over two decades of track record of leadership in General Management, Human Resources Management, Project Management, Operations & Supply Management.
A seasoned and highly analytical executive with an in-depth understanding of management and business partners based on her international experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
She currently holds the position of General Manager, at Leventis Motors at AG. Leventis Nigeria Ltd.
She holds a master’s degree in industrial & Labour Relations and a Bachelor’s in Human Resources with Business. She is an alumnus of Lagos Business School and Harvard Business School, USA.

Sir Chinedum Ogbonnaya Ukeka is an accomplished professional and an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School ( LBS). A Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Management (FNIM). A Fellow of the Institute of Professional Industrialists & Manpower Development( IPIMD). A member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria ( NIMN). He is a member of the Progressive Club of Nigeria, He is also a member of so many other Professional associations, clubs, and Societies in the church and community.
Sir Chinedum Ukeka has over 20 years of cross-functional experience in the Agricultural sector, Development world, and Fast Moving Consumer Goods ( FMCG). He has worked with Multinational organizations such as Ocp – Africa Fertilizers Nigeria Limited ( largest Producer of Npk Fertilizers in Africa), Notore Chemical Industries Limited, ( producers of Urea in sub-Saharan Africa) Guinness Nigeria Plc, and a host of other organizations. He serves as the Managing Partner in Caraach Global Services Limited, a consulting and training firm located in Abuja
He currently serves as a resource person and provides consultancy services in sales and market development, preparation of market penetration, and introduction of new products & services. He has had the privilege of attending refresher courses within and outside Nigeria to enhance and develop himself. He is involved in leadership and Mentoring for some of his associates.
He is happily married to Lady Adaku Caroline Ukeka and the union is blessed with four (4) children. A devout Christian and a Knight of the Order of St. Christopher in the Diocese of Umuahia (Anglican Communion)

DR. AYO SHONDE
Dr SHONDE, Ifedayo Adegbenro was born in Abeokuta Ogun State, Nigeria.
He holds a BSc in Business Administration, a B.Th Theology, a Master in Administrative Law and Public Policy (MLS), and a PhD in Public Administration. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria; a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria; A member of the Chartered Institute of Statistics of Nigeria; an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, UK, a Licenced Commodity Broker, and a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management.
He is a recipient of the NYSC National Award 1990’; and other several awards. He is an Alumnus of the Department of State, USA on Leadership. He retired from the Federal Inland Revenue (FIRS) in 2021. He is currently engaged as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with FIRS.
In NIMN, he had been a member of the Strategic Committee and is now a member of the Budget and Finance Committee. Dr SHONDE is happily married and blessed with children.

SHUAIB ADEKUNLE ABUBAKAR
Shuaib is a well-rounded Senior Strategy and Marketing professional with over 25 years of experience across several functions in the Research Agency, Multinational FMCG, and Telecommunications. He has a wide range of experiences in Marketing Research, Media Planning and Management, Consumer analysis, strategic framework designs and forecasting, Insight generation and applications, pricing applications, and Business Intelligence
Shuaib has worked and led teams that consistently delivered several marketing projects, orchestrating strategic marketing relationships with agencies, and industry gatekeepers, to grow brand influence and gain market share. A well-known high-end achiever amongst peers, having served in several reputable organizations including RMS, now KANTAR, and Guinness Nigeria as the Research Manager. He joined MTN in 2005 where he held various management positions in business strategy and intelligence, research, Pricing & tariffing. He left in March 2021 as the head of the Media Management Unit in the Marketing & Strategy Division.
As a visionary leader who utilizes “out of the box” strategies to spark ideas that generate growth, Shuaib’s strong abilities to work with any team structure or setup to generate superior results have been a great asset in his career growth and progression.
A 1994 alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he bagged both BSc and MSc degrees in Economics, he has received specialized training in leadership, marketing analysis, research, media planning, and business management. A good family man to the core. Shuaib is married to his lovely heartthrob – Bosede Ebunoluwa and they are blessed with lovely and wonderful children.
Shuaib is passionate about sports, football especially. He currently plays lawn tennis and table tennis to keep fit and for relaxation. He is an active member of the Lagos Country Club.
