Convener Profile; Mrs. Adenike Olufade
Adenike Olufade is a seasoned and accomplished Corporate Executive with 36 years’ cognate experience in Marketing and Business Administration rising to the career zenith as Executive Director Marketing. She had a distinguished career at the Nigerian Television Authority holding various key management positions and initiating effective strategies that delivered revenue gains.
Her career path at the NTA spanned from Administrative through Marketing becoming General Manager of many state stations, Zonal Director at Ibadan and Lagos Network Centres; Managing Director TV Enterprises and Executive Director Marketing.
She was also a Member of the NTA Board of Directors, Board Member, Integrated Television Services (ITS),
Member, NTA Board of Management and Chairman, TV Enterprises Ltd.
She attended the – University of Ife (now O.A.U) where she got her degree in English and then moved on to the University of Ibadan where she got two Masters degrees -MBA and M.Phil. Peace & conflict studies.
She is currently studying for a PhD.
Adenike is a Fellow and Member of several professional bodies including the NIMN where she is currently the Chairman of the Women in Marketing Committee as well as the Chairman Lagos Island Chapter.
Other professional bodies include; APCON, AMA, WIMBIZ, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, etc.
She is a consummate marketing strategist, an excellent team player, coach, and mentor, and currently heads DIGIMAGE Consult as Chief Executive Officer.
Speaker 1; Mrs. Evelyn Braie Profile
Evelyn Braie is an alumnus of University of Lagos, with a degree in Business Administration and an Advanced Diploma in Security Management & Operations. She also has a Master’s Degree in Management from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
Evelyn is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, a member of the Institute of Procurement & Supply, a member of the Security Management Association, as well as a Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) from the international Facilities Management Association (Houston).
Over the years, she has built her wealth of experience having worked in Gulf Oil Company (now Chevron Nigeria Limited), ICON Limited (Merchant Bankers), and one of the Big 4 professional services firm in the world. She exited the Big 4 as a senior manager in 2019 to focus on her personal businesses.
She is currently the CEO of KWAD Nigeria Limited, a facilities and procurement management company, and KWAD Security Services Limited.
Her hobbies include meeting people of like minds, and engaging in philanthropic selfless services. She is blessed with three children, two boys, and a girl.
Speaker 2; Mr. Idy Enang Profile
Idy as he is fondly called has had an illustrious career spanning over thirty years. He has held key positions of increasing responsibility at Executive Management levels across Africa; building and transforming several global brands like Guinness (a subsidiary of Diageo) as a Brand Manager, CocaCola as the Country Marketing Manager in Kenya, Chief of Staff to the Equatorial Africa President, then later driving the business in the East & Central Region as General Manager before moving on to turn-around Cadbury from a near comatose state to profitability as Commercial Director.
He had an exceptional stint at Samsung Electronics West Africa where he served as Managing Director for Nigeria out of its West Africa Hub in Lagos, and until recently served as the Managing Director for L’Oreal Central West Africa where he managed the two subsidiaries of the beauty giant across West Africa.
His exemplary leadership and service in the course of his career set him on a global stage where he served in various Executive positions, as the Region Vice President for Africa for the World Federation of Advertisers’(WFA), Past President of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria, Past Chairman of the Heads of Advertising Sectorial Group; and a former member of Council at APCON (the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria).
He sits on several Advisory Boards and is also the current 1st Vice President of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.
He is currently the CEO of Corporate Shepherds Limited, an organization founded by him to serve as a social enterprise to develop and enhance people and organizational capability; Driven by a performance and productivity mind set.
He runs a bundle of initiatives in the media and open seminars for grooming leaders and young people to improve their competencies and career prospects. Corporate Shepherds currently has a wide array of youths and numerous executives under her mentorship.
Idy who is described as a Trustee of Posterity is a Licensed Practitioner for Insights Discovery and Liberating Leadership, UK. He also hosts a popular radio program called Navigate with Idy, a leadership and business talk show that airs on five different popular stations across the nation.
Idy is a trained Economist with an MBA in Marketing. He is a much sought-after Speaker in business and leadership management conferences within and outside the continent. He enjoys reading, listening to music, and loves travelling.
